RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's soccer team fell to Adrian College 3-0 in Matlack-Messer Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Quakers dropped to 1-4-1 on the season.
Mallory Smith led the offense with two shots, and one on goal.
Makalya Hurey collected eight saved in the goal.
Adrian struck first in the fifth minute of play, and led 2-0 at halftime.
The Quakers were outshot 21-6, and trailed 7-4 in corner kicks. Earlham begins the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference schedule on Wednesday against Hanover College in Matlack-Messer Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 pm.
