RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College volleyball team fell to Wittenberg University 3-2 on Tuesday evening in Druley Performance Gym.
Skylar Murray led the offense with 18 kills and a .235 attack percentage. The senior also put up one solo block.
Caylee Brandes scored 12 kills and had two block assists.
Sydney Bleyle dished out 20 assists and collected 20 digs.
Madison Bizjak led the back line with 29 digs. The libero also had 12 assists, and scored two aces.
As a team, Earlham hit at a .130 clip with 49 kills and four blocks.
Errors plagued the Earlham offense all evening, with six attack errors in the second set for a -.077 attack percentage, and seven errors in the final set for a -.067 percentage. The Quakers also committed 16 service errors on the night.
The Quakers begin HCAC play on Saturday with a trip to Mount St. Joseph University. First serve is slated for 1 pm in Cincinnati.
