SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Earlham College field hockey team took a 2-0 loss at Wittenberg University on Saturday in NCAC competition.
The Tigers scored their first goal late in the first quarter, in the 13th minute of play. The hosts then added their second goal as time expired in the 60th minute.
Earlham was outshot 17-3.
Beatrice Meeks led the offense with two shots, and one on cage.
In goal,
Ainsley Kemp collected seven saves.
The Quakers host Washington and Jefferson College next Saturday for more NCAC competition in Darrell Beane Stadium.
