RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's basketball team capped off the Melissa Johnson/HOPE Classic with an 82-51 loss to DePauw University on Sunday afternoon.
Ken Walker led the offense with 19 points, five assists, two steals and six rebounds.
Tavian Tatum collected a team-high eight rebounds with nine points and two blocks.
After a slow-paced first half, the Quakers trailed 30-20. Earlham shot 44% from 3-point range in the second half, but could not stop the Tiger offense, leading to a 51-31 tally in just the second half.
The Quakers begin conference play on December 4th at Transylvania University. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 pm.
