RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's basketball team fell to University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point 79-56 in the Melissa Johnson/HOPE Classic on Sunday afternoon.
Kaibre Stephan led the offense with nine points, after shooting 3-of-7 on 3-pointers.
Amari Wright brought down a team-high six rebounds.
As a team, the Quakers shot 36% on field goals, but took 11 less shots than the Pointers.
Stevens Point scored over 20 points in each of the first two quarters, and led 49-29 at the halftime break.
The Quakers will host Transylvania University on December 4th in Druley Performance Gym. Tip-off is slated for 7 pm.
