TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Earlham College women's basketball team continued conference play with a 74-59 loss at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Wednesday evening.
Jay Bright led the offense with 13 points and four rebounds.
Bailey Gibson brought down five boards and scored 11 points.
Amari Bradford collected five rebounds with nine points.
Amari Wright had a team-high six rebounds and nine points.
After falling into a 24-7 deficit at the end of the first quarter, the Quakers outscored the Engineers 21-12 in the second frame to trail by eight at halftime. Earlham shot 16% on field goals in the first quarter, followed by 42% in the second.
Rose-Hulman stretched its lead in the third quarter, outscoring the Quakers 25-16.
Earlham will continue play on December 30th at The College of Wooster for its final game of 2024. Conference play resumes on January 4th against Franklin College.
