RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College volleyball team dropped a pair of matches to conclude the 2024 Earlham Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
GAME ONE: EARLHAM 1 ASBURY 3 (25-18, 26-28, 21-25, 24-26)
Aniyah Harrington led the offense in match one with 15 kills and a .303 hitting percentage.
Caylee Brandes scored 12 kills with just two errors, and
Jasmyn Meeker hit 11 kills. Harrington also led the Quakers in digs with 12.
Meg Kobman collected 11 digs as the Quaker libero and scored three aces.
Ava Walters and
Sydney Bleyle both dished out 26 assists at the net. Brandes assisted on six blocks.
GAME TWO: EARLHAM 0 TRINE 3 (11-25, 17-25, 19-25)
Brandes led the offense in the finale with 11 kills.
Ava Walters dished out 19 assists, and
Lauren Newcomer collected 15 digs as the libero.
The Quakers lost 23 points in the serve game, with eight serving errors, and 15 aces for the Thunder.
Earlham will be back on the court at Capital University on Wednesday for a 7 pm match.
