WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Earlham College men's soccer team fell in the Quaker Bowl Rivalry Game 7-0 at Wilmington College on Saturday evening.
The Quakers were outshot 24-12, with four Earlham shots on goal.
Earlham allowed just one goal from a penalty kick in the opening half of play.
Starting in the 53rd minute, WIlmington put up four goals, including a second penalty kick goal in just over eight minutes of play.
Ryland Wamsley collected eight saves in goal, which included a penalty kick save with the score still tied at zero in the first half.
Earlham will continue its season on Tuesday at home against Wabash College in Matlack-Messer Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4 pm.
