OBERLIN, Ohio – The Earlham College field hockey team picked up a North Coast Athletic Conference win with a 2-0 result at Oberlin College on Saturday.
Beatrice Meeks gave the Quakers a lead in the 12th minute of play with a goal on a penalty corner that Meeks inserted.
Meredith McGraw dished out the assist.
In the 41st Minute,
Alex Ball extended the Quaker lead on a breakaway sent through by
Piper Brill. Ball made a cutback move to beat the Yeo goalkeeper on the run at the cage.
Earlham outshot Oberlin 18-2, and led in penalty corners 9-2.
Ainsley Kemp collected one save in her first career shutout in goal.
Earlham continues conference play tomorrow at The College of Wooster at noon.
