CARMEL, Ind. – On Tuesday, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference named Vanessa Akuaku as this week's HCAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week. 

Akuaku led the Quakers in a 6-1 win over Albion on Sunday, taking wins at No.1 singles and No.1 doubles. The sophomore scored a 6-1, 6-1 win in singles, and paired with Lawrencia Manu for a 6-2 doubles win.

Earlham is slated to conclude its fall slate this weekend against Alma College on Homecoming.
