KNOXVILLE, Tennessee – The Earlham Women's Golf team battled Mother Nature as well as Maryville College and Roane State College in their spring season opener at Dead Horse Lake Golf Course. After a 90-minute rain delay and finishing in total darkness, the final standings were:

Earlham 437

The Quakers were led by Macky Laughlin (Jr., Richmond, IN), Brileigh QuillenPopejoy (FY, Kokomo, IN), and Erin Wright (FY, Muncie, IN) who finished in 11th, 12th, and 13th place respectively.

Head Coach Matt Brown said, "The weather this spring has not been kind, but it was nice to get our feet wet, literally and figuratively, with a fun opening tournament."

The women continue their spring season in two weeks at Mount St. Joseph.
