Two Quakers earn all-conference honors at HCAC Championship

ANDERSON, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team competed in its final indoor meet of the season at the HCAC Championship meet hosted by Anderson University. 

The women's team scored 23 points to finish in seventh place overall, while the men scored 10 points and finished in 10th.

Prynces Robinson earned a second-place finish in the triple jump with a leap of 10.01 meters (32' 10.25"). She followed it up with a third-place result in the long jump with a mark of 4.74 meters (15' 6.75").

Ethan Rose took third place in the 800 meter run, running a new personal best in the process. The junior clocked in at 1:59.28, just .02 behind the second place runner from Berea. 

Cleo Saltz ran two new personal bests on the day, and scored in three individual events. The freshman ran a new PR of 11:08.51 in the 3,000 meter run to finish in seventh place. She took seventh in the 5,000 meter run with a new PR of 19:20.21, and finished seventh in the mile, clocking 5:39.52.

The Quaker 4x200 meter relay team of Giulianna Russell, Sammy West, Isa Slone and Alex Ball ran a 2:00.6 to take seventh place in the conference. The 4x400 relay team comprised of Katelyn Trotto, Slone, Sofie Kurrasch and West took eighth place. 

The men's distance medley relay team of Rose, Don Papa Fall, Anthony Gough and Peyton Chanley scored a fifth-place finish, with a time of 11:12.44.
