RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team fell to Washington & Jefferson College 12-5 on Thursday evening in Darrell Beane Stadium.
Robbie Gift led the Quakers with two goals and one assist.
Ethan Upton caused four turnovers and picked up six ground balls. Ryan Dolafo rounded up seven saves in goal.
The Presidents jumped out to a 4-0 lead early in the second quarter, and led 6-1 at halftime. Earlham closed the gap with a pair of goals late in the fourth quarter, but W&J responded with three goals in the final eight minutes.
Earlham will be back in action next Saturday at home against Le Roche University for a 4 pm matchup.
