RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's lacrosse team took a commanding 25-6 win over La Roche University on Saturday afternoon in Darrell Beane Stadium.
Robbie Gift scored the second most goals in a game in program history with seven, while adding eight assists for 15 points.
Ryan Polack and
Elijah Gamber both tallied four goals in the win.
Khalime Truell scored three goals with one assist.
Ethan Upton and
Liam McGlynn both scored two goals each.
Jackson Dalton scored his first career goal.
In the cage,
Ryan Dolafi collected three saves. Upton and McGlynn led the back line with three caused turnovers each, and McGlynn picked up a team-high 12 ground balls.
Brady Shaw went 19-29 on faceoffs with seven ground balls.
As a team, the Quakers outshot the Redhawks 77-16. Earlham also went 13-15 on clear attempts.
The Quakers led 9-1 after 15 minutes of action, and scored the first seven goals of the game. Earlham continued to keep their foot on the gas in the second half, outscoring the Redhawks 10-2 in the final 30 minutes, and keeping a clean sheet in the final quarter.
Earlham begins conference play next Saturday at home against Spalding University for Senior Day. Action is slated to begin at 1 pm.
