Box Score 3 RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's tennis team celebrated Senior Day with a 4-3 win over the University of Olivet on Sunday.
Vanessa Akuaku led the way with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No.1 singles.
Mackenzie Davis won at No.2 singles 6-1, 6-1. Senior
Madison Ruwersma played No.3 singles, falling 6-4, 6-3.
Faith Silver also saw action at No.6 singles with a 7-6, 6-4 loss.
In doubles, Akuaku and
Lawrencia Manu teamed up for a win at No.1 with a 6-3 score.
Paige Hobbs and Ruwersma sealed the point for the Quakers with a 6-1 win at No.2.
Earlham also hosted Hanover College and Transylvania University on Saturday. The Quakers took a 7-0 win over the Panthers, led by AKuaky with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No.1 singles.
Against Transylvania, Manu scored the lone point with a 6-3, 6-4 win at No.3 singles.
The Quakers host Maryville College on Friday before rounding out the conference slate next week.
