BEREA, Ky. – The Earlham College track and field team concluded its 2025 slate at the HCAC Championship meet hosted by Berea over the weekend.
The women's team beat its preseason slot with a sixth-place finish, scoring 63 points, while the men finished in 10th place with eight points.
Cleo Saltz won the women's 5,000 meter run with a new personal best time of 18:28.07. Saltz also finished fourth in the 1,500 meter run with a time of 5:05.74.
Ethan Rose placed sixth in the 800 meter run prelims to qualify for Saturday's final, and ran a new PR of 1:56.01 in the final to take second place and all-conference honors.
Isa Slone scored in two jumping events, taking second place and earning all-conference honors in the long jump with a mark of 5.01 meters. The sophomore also placed fourth in the high jump, clearing 1.48 meters.
Prynces Robinson placed second in the triple jump, and third in the long jump. Tallying a mark of 10.57 meters in the triple, and 4.9 meters in the long jump.
Lex Gibson broke her own school record in the javelin throw, and placed second with a mark od 37.19 meters. The senior also placed fifth in the discus, and seventh in the shot put.
Alex Ball scored in the high jump with an eighth-place finish after clearing 1.38 meters.
The women's relays teams both scored, with the 4x400 meter team of Slone,
Lily Schamel,
Sofie Kurrasch, and Ball taking fifth place with a 4:26.17. The 4x100 team of Robinson, Slone, Kurrasch, and Ball took sixth place with a 53.38.
