ANGOLA, Indiana – And they're off! Earlham College Athletics has their first competition of the school year. Earlham College Women's Golf Kicked off their regular season today at Zollner Golf Course in the Trine Fall Kick-off Classic.

The Quakers finished 7th in the 9-team event with a score of 389 (+101).

The Quakers were led by Brileigh Quillen-Popejoy (So., Kokomo, IN) who finished in 27th position with a score of 90 (+18). Rylie Kellams (FY, Alexandria, IN) and Izzy Flint (FY, West Lafayette, IN) finished a respectable 44th and 48th place respectively in the 70-player field.

Mary Kaitlyn Bauer (FY, Oklahoma City, OK) and Taylor Oberjohann (FY, Harrison, OH) also made their collegiate debuts.

Head Coach Matt Brown said, "I'm delighted with today's performance. After a grueling pre-season, it was great the dividends of the hard work this group put in."

The Quakers are back in action Friday at the IU East Fall Invitational.
