RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team took a 2-0 loss to Wittenberg University in Matlack-Messer Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.
After a 0-0 score at the halftime break, the Tigers scored their first goal in the 59th minute on a free kick play. Wittenberg added a second goal on a long shot to the far post in the 87th minute.
Andre Moriel had the best opportunity for the Quakers with a shot off of a cross in the 50th minute of play.
The Quakers were outshot 27-5.
Ryland Wamsley collected seven saves in goal.
Earlham is slated to travel to Olivet on Saturday for a 1:30 pm matchup.
