RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team fell to Wilmington College 3-0 in the Quaker Bowl on Tuesday afternoon in Matlack-Messer Stadium.
Sophomore
Ryland Wamsley collected 10 saves in goal, fending off 20 total shots by the Fightin' Quakers.
Oscar Gomez led the Earlham offense with two shots, one on goal.
Wilmington scored its first goal in the 39th minute of play, and took a 1-0 lead into the halftime break. The visitors then capitalized on an own goal in the 55th minute, and scored their final goal in the 56th minute.
Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action begins on Saturday as Earlham hosts Manchester University in Matlack-Messer for a 3:30 pm contest.
