ANGOLA, Ind. – The Earlham College volleyball team defeated Trine University in four sets on Saturday afternoon.
Caylee Brandes led the Quaker offense with 12 kills and four blocks on the day.
Ava Walters dished out a team-high 27 assists while
Sydney Bleyle tallied 19.
Madison Bizjak matched her career-high with 34 digs. Freshman
Anna Le scored a team-high three aces.
As a team, the Quakers scored 50 kills, eight aces, and nine blocks.
Earlham committed just three errors in the first set en route to a .379 team hitting percentage and a 25-13 set win. Trine then came back in set two, scoring a 25-19 win after holding the Quaker offense to a .02 hitting percentage.
The Quakers continue action on Tuesday at Wittenberg University. First serve is scheduled for 7 pm.
