TIFFIN, Ohio – The Earlham College men's soccer team fell to Heidelberg University 1-0 in non-conference action on Saturday in Tiffin.
The Student Princes hit the scoreboard in the first minute of play, seizing a corner kick opportunity early in the match.
Andre Moriel led the Quaker offense with three shots, two on goal. Freshman defender
Sawyer Sheetz also posted three shots.
The Quakers outshot the Student Princes 12-4, and posted four shots on frame.
In his first career start in goal for the Quakers,
Isaiah Mayers collected two saves.
The Quakers travel to Spalding University on Wednesday for a 5:30 pm match at the Golden Eagles.
