RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's basketball team dropped an HCAC matchup to Transylvania University 67-56 on Wednesday evening.
Trailing 53-25 with 6:27 remaining in the third quarter, the Quakers went on a 15-3 run to close the gap to just 16 points. Earlham got within 10 points after a 10-0 run in the fourth quarter, but fell short in the comeback effort.
Berkley Shelton scored 19 points with seven rebounds, two blocks, two steals and two assists.
Liz Godfrey scored a career-high 12 points, shooting 4-for-8 on 3-pointers on the night.
The Quakers host Franklin College on Saturday for Senior Day at 1 pm in Druley Performance Gym.
