RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College athletics department announced Reiss Naylor as the next Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach.
Naylor comes to the Quakers after spending time as the Director of Tennis at Millikin University. Naylor led the Big Blue to a program-best 16-6 record with a 5-2 conference mark for the men in 2022-23. The team finished third in the conference that season. The women's team also put up a program-best record of 14-5 with a 6-1 mark in conference in 2022-23, finishing second in the conference regular season. Millikin's men's doubles team went to the consolation finals of the Fall ITA Tournament in 2024, the farthest a Big Blue team has gone in the tournament in program history.
Naylor's teams also excelled in the classroom, with both the men's and women's program earning ITA Scholar All-Academic Team in 2023-24.
Naylor is a 2022 graduate of Millikin University, and earned an MBA from Millikin in 2023. As a player, Naylor was a three-time CCIW Academic All-Conference, while posting a 6-2 record in singles his senior year.
The Quaker tennis teams are slated to begin fall action on September 5th against Indiana University East.
