RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College men's soccer team fell to the University of Olivet 4-0 on Senior Day in Matlack-Messer Stadium.
The Comets scored the first goal of the game on a busted coverage inside the penalty area in the 26th minute of play. After leading 1-0 at halftime, the visitors added goals in the 61st and 68th minutes before a final score in the 84th minute.
The Quakers led the Comets in shots 11-5, and posted a 6-4 lead in shots on goal. Freshman
John De La O led the team in shots with three.
Sawyer Sheetz took the most promising attempt of the day with a far-post opportunity on a free-kick play in the 83rd minute.
The Quakers will continue their season on Tuesday at 4 pm in Matlack-Messer Stadium.
