RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey team dropped an 11-1 decision to Wittenberg University Wednesday on Comstock Field.
Wittenberg got on the scoreboard first in the North Coast Athletic Conference match before the Quakers tied the contest 1-1 when
Kate Birdsall scored at 11:37. The Tigers went on top for good at 12:00.
The Tigers (3-2, 1-1) led 38-1 in shots and 9-2 in penalty corners. Earlham goalkeeper
Emma Treece had 18 saves for the Quakers.
Earlham (2-3, 0-3) plays Denison University on Friday. The NCAC match begins at 4:30 p.m.
