RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey squad dropped a 5-0 decision to North Coast Athletic Conference foe Ohio Wesleyan University on Comstock Field.
The Bishops (5-4, 4-3) scored two goals in the opening period and added the other three in the second half.
"I thought we played better a better first half," Earlham Head Coach Jill Butcher said. "We gave up fewer corners and shots than in our last two matches. We just need to keep improving daily."
Ohio Wesleyan had a 31-2 advantage in shots and a 10-2 edge in penalty corners.

Emma Treece (Kettering, OH, Kettering Fairmont) had 19 saves, while
Rhea Bovee (Lindhurst, IL, Lake Forest) and
Zipporah Burns (Beachwood, OH, Orange ) added defensive saves.
Next up for the Quakers (2-7, 0-6) is a trip to Oberlin College on Saturday. The NCAC contest gets underway at 2 p.m.
