DAYTON, Ohio — The Earlham College men's tennis team had its five-match winning streak snapped on Friday as the Quakers fell 7-2 to Calvin College at the Dayton Center Courts.
The Knights (6-4) won all three doubles matches to jump out in front of the non-conference contest.
Earlham's two victories came in singles.
Henry Levin (Dallas, TX, Highland Park) defeated Roland Eldridge 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1.
Brad Maisey (Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, Tauranga Boys) posted the other win with a 6-1, 6-4 decision over Brian DeMaagdat No. 3.
The Quakers (8-3) play a pair of Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference matches at home on Saturday, April 9. The first contest against Hanover College is at 10 a.m. Earlham faces Anderson University at 2 p.m.
