HANOVER, Ind. — The Earlham College women's tennis team had its three-match winning streak snapped on Wednesday as the Quakers dropped a 7-2 decision to Hanover College.
Olivia Engle (Richmond, IN, Richmond) was involved in both victories in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair against the Panthers (2-3, 2-2).
Engle and
Claire Welsh (Ann Arbor, MI, Pioneer) beat Allison Poston and Alexis Taylor 8-3 at No. 1 doubles.
In singles action, Engle defeated Kim Fong 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1.
The Quakers (3-2, 2-2) entertain Capital University on Friday. The match on the EC Courts starts at 4:30 p.m.
