Box Score GAMBIER, Ohio — The Earlham College field hockey team started its weekend trip with a 7-1 loss at Kenyon College.
Tori Posey scored the first goal of the North Coast Athletic Conference match at 16:15 with an assist from Kaitlyn Leamy to put the Quakers on top 1-0.
Kenyon responded with four scores in the remainder of the opening period to lead 4-1 at the intermission. The Ladies (8-4, 6-2) added three more goals in the second half.
Earlham goalkeeper Helen Titcomb had 10 saves for the Quakers. Kenyon led 22-6 in shots and 21-5 in penalty corners.
The Quakers (2-11, 0-9) are at Denison University on Saturday. The NCAC affair gets underway at 11 a.m.
