Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey team finished its Homecoming Weekend with a 4-1 loss to Oberlin College.
Oberlin (4-9, 3-7) grabbed an early 2-0 lead with a pair of quick goals in the first half of the North Coast Athletic Conference match in Darrell Beane Stadium.
Late in the period, Earlham got on the scoreboard when Tara Burns picked up a goal at 32:45 with an assist from Neo Khalema.
In the second half, Oberlin added its final two scores.
Earlham goalkeeper Helen Titcomb had 15 saves for the Quakers.
The Quakers (2-13, 0-11) entertain DePauw University on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
