RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey team dropped a 7-2 decision to Denison University on Saturday at Darrell Beane Stadium.

Denison (4-0, 2-0) scored five times in the first half to take a 5-0 lead at the intermission of the North Coast Athletic Conference affair.

Earlham scored twice in the second period. Natasha Jacobs had an unassisted goal at 48:47. The final goal for the Quakers was by Megan Hut at 58:59 with Neo Khalema assisting on the play.

Earlham goalkeeper Helen Titcomb had 15 saves for the Quakers.

The Quakers (2-2, 0-2) entertain Transylvania University on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
