Box Score RICHMOND, Ind. — The Earlham College field hockey team honored three seniors on Saturday during Homecoming Weekend as they played the last home contest of their careers.
Tara Burns, Heather Brock and Bailey Heinzen were recognized prior to Earlham's 2-0 loss to Wittenberg University in Darrell Beane Stadium.
The Tigers (9-9, 7-6) took control of the North Coast Athletic Conference match with a pair of goals in the first half.
Wittenberg led 19-12 in shots and 10-8 in penalty corners. Megen Hut led the Quakers with nine shots.
Earlham goalkeeper Brynna Foreman had four saves for the Quakers.
The Quakers (0-17, 0-13) travel to Bethany College on Sunday for a non-conference contest at 1 p.m.
