Box Score GAMBIER, Ohio — The Earlham College field hockey team resumed its weekend of North Coast Athletic Conference action on Sunday with a 7-2 loss at Kenyon College.
Bailey Heinzen scored the first goal for the Quakers as the Ladies (5-1, 2-0) built a 5-1 advantage by intermission.
Megan Hut had Earlham's score in the second period with an assist from Kaitlyn Brunner.
Hut finished with four shots for the Quakers, while Heinzen scored on her only attempt.
Earlham goalkeeper Brynna Foreman had five saves for the Quakers. Tara Burns had a defensive save for the Quakers.
The Quakers (0-5, 0-2) entertain the College of Wooster on Saturday. The NCAC match in Darrell Beane Stadium is at 1 p.m.
