DAYTON, Ohio â€" The Earlham College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision on Friday night at the Dayton Center Courts.

The Quakers fell behind 2-1 after the doubles competition against the Crusaders (4-2).

Earlham's Vitalii Stadnyk and Jack Ventura-Cruess beat Luke Buchanan and Dale Booher 8-2 in the top doubles position.

In singles, Stadnyk defeated Buchanan 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 for Earlham's other victory.

The Quakers (1-5) travel on Tuesday to William Peace University in Raleigh, N.C. The match gets underway at 4 p.m.
