TERRE HAUTE, Ind. â€" The Earlham College men's tennis team dropped a 7-2 decision on Saturday at the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Earlham's Vitalii Stadnyk and Jack Ventura-Cruess defeated Brandon Benedict and Georges Adam 8-4 in the top doubles spot in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair.

In the singles competition against the Engineers (9-5, 7-0), Stadnyk beat Benedict 7-5, 6-4 at No. 1.

The Quakers (5-9, 2-2) entertain Hanover College on Wednesday in a conference contest at 4 p.m.
