Kenyon Clips Field Hockey 2-0

Box Score

RICHMOND, Indiana – Kenyon College scored a goal in each half as the Ladies prevailed 2-0 over the Earlham College field hockey team in North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) action at Darrell Beane Stadium on Sunday.

Olivia O'Connell opened the score in the 10th minute as she used a pass from Weezie Foster to beat Earlham goalkeeper, sophomore Camille van der Vaart. The Ladies, who held an 8-4 shots advantage in the first half, would take the one-goal lead into halftime.

Midway through the second half, Molly Keen found Foster off a pass from a penalty corner. Foster's low shot beat van der Vaart for the final goal of the game.

Earlham's offense tallied six shots in the game including four from senior Megan Hut, who had multiple scoring changes off penalty corners. Junior Maite Turlings and sophomore Kudzai Mushongahande also took shots for the Quakers.

Earlham (1-3, 1-2 NCAC) travels to the College of Wooster and Oberlin College next weekend.
