Men's tennis falls to cross-town rival IU-East

RICHMOND, Ind. – Earlham College men's tennis picked up a single point in doubles play but had to settle for two additional points in singles, and fell to visiting I.U.-East, 6-3, on Wednesday evening at the EC Tennis Courts.

Alex Sergeev and Lennart Harms teamed up to post a 7-5 victory at no. 1 doubles, but only Harms managed a win in the singles round. Gordian Bruns also picked up a lopsided win at no. 5 singles, with a 6-3, 6-1 triumph over IU-East's Ian Dillman.

Earlham men's tennis returns to action on Sunday, Sept. 29, when the team travels to South Bend, Indiana, to participate in the Holy Cross Invitational tournament.
