MEET: 2021 HCAC Women's Indoor T&F Championships
LOCATION: Terre Haute, Indiana – RHIT Sports & Recreation Center
WOMEN'S FINISH: 5th of 10 teams (47 pts.)
THE SHORT STORY: Lyndsey Hermes won the 400m dash to claim an individual title for Earlham College women's track & field at Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships, held at Rose-Hulman's Sports & Recreation Center.

Earlham finished fifth out of 10 teams with 47 points – edging out sixth-place Bluffton (46.5 pts.) and placing just behind fourth-place Bluffton (47.5 pts.).
"We had eight women today and all of them stepped up and did some big things in their events," said
Emily Lawrence, Earlham's head men's and women's track and field coach. "There was lots of over-performing and scoring more points than projected, especially Elena (Stirn) in the mile and 800, Yenelis (Husband-Flores) in the hurdles, our 4x400m relay, and Madison (Huelskamp) in the long jump. They competed well and all of their hard work and grit showed."
