CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. – The Earlham College men's tennis team began competition at the Wabash College Invitational over the weekend.
The Quakers left the event with a record of 0-3.
In singles competition on Saturday,
Sarthak Sharma battled the Little Giants closely at the No. 1 spot 6-3 and 6-4.
Nathen Peck won a set against the No. 5 single from Wabash, but was defeated in the match.
The Quakers were swept by IWU in the second match of Saturday.
Hyunseong Ahn battled the No. 2 single with sets of 7-6 and 6-3. The Quakers were also defeated by Rose-Hulman in singles competition.
Sharma and Ahn teamed up for No.1 doubles action on Sunday against Rose-Hulman and was defeated 8-5. The Duo won their final match of the day against the top team from Wabash 8-4.
Earlham will be back on the court next weekend at the ITA Regional in St. Louis.
