GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team continued its indoor schedule at the Tim Hreha Memoria Invitational hosted by DePauw University on Friday evening. 

The women's team finished in third place with 35 points, while the men scored 39 points to finish in fourth. 

The Quakers will be back in action next weekend at the Mount St. Joseph Invitational in Cincinnati, Ohio. 

Here are some of the top performances of the day for the Quake:

Connor Del Carmen won the 3,000 meter run by over seven seconds with a time of 8:57.03. The sophomore currently ranks fourth in the conference in the event. Alex Roberts also finished on the podium with a 9:20.46 finishing time.

Madison Huelskamp won the triple jump with a mark of 10.06 meters. The mark is currently the third-best in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. 

The Quakers swept the top-two spots of the men's triple jump with David Turner and Blessed Shumba. Turner recorded a leap of 11.79 meters, while Shumba followed with an 11.70 mark. 

Liv Kyrk finished in third-place in the women's 400 meter dash after recording a time of 1:04.61 in the two-lap race. Kyrk also scored a third-place finish in the high jump after clearing 1.37 meters. 

Ethan Rose scored a fourth-place result in the men's 800 meter run with a time of 2:06.21.

Elena Stirn scored with a third-place finish in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:44.76.

Lily Schamel came home in fourth in the 3k event with a final time of 11:57.43.
