SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – Earlham College track and field junior Connor Del Carmen competed in the Steemer Showcase hosted by Wittenberg University on Saturday. 

Del Carmen competed in the 3,000 meter run, where he finished in 20th place in the competitive field of 86. Connor lowered his personal best in the 3,000 by just over 14 seconds, with an 8:41.72. Del Carmen's time also sets a new school record in the indoor 3k, clearing the previous record of 8:43 set by Austin Burt in 2019.

The Quakers will be back in action next weekend at the AU Invite hosted by Anderson University.
