Springfield, Ohio – The Earlham College track and field team got its first taste of action for the 2024-25 season at the Tiger Opener hosted by Wittenberg University on Saturday.
Competing in his first collegiate triple jump, Ian MacDonald posted a leap of 43' 3" tp finish in second place. MacDonald was just two feet short of the Earlham program record, he also scored in the long jump, finishing in seventh place.
Prynces Robinson scored in both the triple jump and the long jump. The freshman reached a mark of 16' 1.5" in the long jump to finish in seventh, and 32' 7" to finish seventh in the triple.
The Quakers get back to action at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on January 24.
