CARMEL, Ind. – After leading the Earlham College men's lacrosse team to a 2-0 week, Donovan Shea and Mark Resig have been named HCLC Players of the Week.

Shea earned defensive Player of the Week honors after picking up 28 ground balls and causing eight turnovers. Shea set a new program record on Saturday with 21 ground balls at La Roche.

Resig was named HCLC Offensive Player of the Week with 17 goals and four assists on the week, including a new program record of 11 goals against La Roche. Resig scored his first goal of the season on Wednesday against Centenary College.

The Quakers improved to 5-3 on the season with a 12-11 win over Centenary, and a 29-0 win over La Roche, breaking the previous school record for goals in a game at 16. 

Additionally, Robert Gift set program records with nine assists and 16 points against La Roche. Zach Price also set a new program mark with 21 faceoff wins. 

The Quakers continue play on April 3 against Hanover College in Darrell Beane Stadium.
