HANOVER, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team continued its outdoor season at the Hanover Invitational on Saturday.
The men's squad scored 13 points to finish in ninth place, while the women scored eight points for eighth place.
Earlham will be back in action next weekend at the Manchester Invitational at 11 am.
Here are some of the top performances of the day by the Quake:
Abraham Sadiq took third place in the long jump with a mark of 6.32 meters. Sadiq also scored an eighth-place finish in the 200 meter dash.
Micah Williams placed third in the men's 400 meter dash with a time of 51.29 in the one-lap race.
Alexis Gibson earned a fourth-place finish in the women's javelin throw after a launch of 36.61 meters. She also scored a sixth-place in the discus with a throw of 33.39 meters.
