CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday the winners of the Weekly Athlete of the Week awards for men's lacrosse. 

For the second consecutive week, Braden Greeno of Earlham College has been named the HCLC Defensive Player of the Week. 

Greeno boosted the Quakers in a win over Heidelberg University in the home-opener in Darrell Beane Stadium last week with 12 saves and just two goals allowed. The freshman from Billings, Montana faced 32 shots in the contest. 

The Quakers defeated the Student Princes 3-2 to improve to a 3-1 record, the best start to a season in program history. Earlham will continue play on Saturday at Northland College as part of the spring break trip to Wisconsin.
