CARMEL, Ind. – On Wednesday, the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference announced four members of the Earlham College men's lacrosse team as All-Conference selections for the 2024 season. 

Robert Gift earned the first first-team selection in program history as an attackman. Gift scored 38 goals and dished out 31 assists for 69 points on the season. Gift led the Quaker offense in nearly every statistical category for the spring. The sophomore also led the conference in goals, assists and points. 

Mark Resig was named second team All-HCLC as an attackman with 32 goals and a .444 shooting percentage as a freshman. Resig did most of his damage near the end of the season, with all of his goals coming in the final month of play. On March 23, Resign broke the program record with 11 goals against La Roche.

Ben Atkins earned second team honors as a short-stick defenseman for the Quakers. Adkins was a major contributor on defense and offense. The senior saw action in 12 games, and scored eight goals with seven assists. Defensively, Adkins caused 11 turnovers and picked up 34 ground balls.

Ethan Upton was the final Quaker on the second team with a defense designation. Starting all 14 games on the season, Upton caused 25 turnovers, and was credited with 46 ground balls. Upton also was involved offensively with five goals against Concordia University Chicago for the first Quaker win of the season. 

The Quakers finished the regular season with a program-best 7-7 record, and a 2-3 conference mark. Earlham will take on Transylvania University tonight in the HCLC Semifinals at 7 pm in Lexington, Ky.
