NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The Earlham College track and field team continued action at the Manchester Invitational on Saturday. 

The women's team scored 20 points to finish in seventh place in the meet. 

Earlham will hit the track again next Saturday at the Indiana DIII Invitational hosted by DePauw University. 

Here are some of the top performances of the day for the Quake:

Alexis Gibson medaled in the javelin throw with a heave of 35.70 meters (117' 1"). The junior also finished 11th in the discus. 

Chloe Cook scored in the women's 400 meter dash after posting a time of 1:04.57. 

Amari Bradford scored a new personal best in the triple jump with a leap of 9.57 meters (31' 4.75"). 

Akiko Tajima placed eighth in the 800 meter run with a finishing time of 2:39.03. The time was a new personal best for Tajima.
