WILMINGTON, Ohio – The Earlham College women's soccer team dropped a Quaker bowl matchup at Wilmington College 3-1 on Wednesday evening in Wilmington.
Wilmington scored its first goal in the sixth minute of play, and led 2-0 by the 11th minute.
After trailing 2-0 at halftime,
Mallory Smith got Earlham on the board with an unassisted goal in the 66th minute.
Wilmington added an additional goal in the 74th minute.
Makayla Hurey collected 12 saves in goal.
Earlham continues play on Saturday at Bethany College. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30 pm.
