RICHMOND, Ind. – The Earlham College women's soccer team fell to Edgewood College 1-0 after a penalty kick goal on Saturday.
The sole goal of the match came in the 42nd minute on a penalty kick for the Eagles.
Mallory Smith led the Quakers with two shots. Guliana Russell put the only shot on frame for Earlham with a header off of a corner kick in the 72rd minute.
Makayla Hurey collected eight saves in goal.
Earlham continues its season on Wednesday at Wilmington College for the Quaker Bowl. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 pm.
