CEDARVILLE, Ohio – The Earlham College track and field team continued action at the Cedarville Indoor Invitational on Friday evening hosted by Cedarville University.
The women's team finished in seventh place out of 14 schools, scoring 24 points.
Prynces Robinson won the triple jump with a leap of 9.72 meters (31' 10.75"), Robinson also took third place in the long jump with a new PR of 5.09 meters (16' 8.5").
Jaden Hawthorne finished second in the 5,000 meter run, with a new personal best time of 19:38.16.
Cleo Saltz scored second place in the 5k with a new personal best 19:49.11.
Anthony Gough and
Michael Pacheco both ran PR times in the 800 meter run, clocking 2:26.17 and 2:28.3 respectively.
Ethan Rose ran a new personal best in the mile with a finishing time of 4:37.67.
Competing in her second collegiate track meet,
Sammy West set a new PR in the mile with a time of 6:13.17.
Katelyn Trotto and Sophie Kurrasch both hit new personal bests in the 800 meter run with times of 2:51.33 and 2:57.65.
In the 3k,
Allanhirschrick Rojas Hernandez and
Peyton Chanley scored new personal bests with finishing times of 10:28.0 and 10:34.56.
The Quakers will be back in action next Saturday at Anderson University.
